Our Purpose
The purpose of the TCLA is to further develop unity between the lodging industry, city and county officials, and our tourism partners in Tuolumne County.
We promote and protect our interest in all things tourism, with a focus on promoting Tuolumne County as the best gateway to Yosemite and educating our guests about the tremendous offering Tuolumne County has to explore.
What We Do
- Advocate locally and in Sacramento. We seek opportunities to lobby locally or at the state level, helping protect our voice as a rural community, and we reach out to our representatives when needed.
- Follow legislation. We track legislation that could positively or negatively affect our lodging partners.
- Build relationships. We help our lodging partners strengthen their relationships with Visit Tuolumne County, the City of Sonora, the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors, and our tourism partners.
- Promote the gateway. We champion Tuolumne County as the best gateway to Yosemite and share everything else the county has to offer.
