Mother Lode Fair
Location: Mother Lode Fairgrounds, Sonora
The Mother Lode Fair runs each year over the Fourth of July period at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora, with livestock shows, exhibits, a carnival and evening entertainment. Combined with the holiday, it makes early July one of the busiest stretches of the year for Sonora-area lodging.
